Iran Warns of Attacks on American Bases

A powerful United States ally in the Middle East, Israel, Is currently involved in conflict with Iran. Iran called out Israel in the United Nations General Assembly on Monday. The Iranian leader walked out after President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accused Israel of being a "fake regime" hiding under it's protector: The United States. Iran threatened to attack nearby American Air Force and Naval bases if war were to spark between Iran and Israel. If Iran were to attack American bases, they would be provoking the United States into war.

  1. This is a very interesting topic you should elaborate more on this subject. Iranian threats to the United States may not bode well. Maybe another Cold War possibility? Iran is looking for excuses to begin a war. But in some sense they must know they cannot win a war with the United States. Keep the good work bro this is a very interesting global perspective topic and you could go in many directions with this, good work.

    1. Thanks Chris! I personally believe Iran is just flexing their guns to the world by threatening the world's sole superpower... It could escalate quickly though and become another major conflict in the middle east if Iran's threats aren't hollow. As for a cold war I disagree. I don't believe that the Iranian economic and political structure is sound enough to even attempt to pull an arms race against the United States. But that's just my opinion... Thank you for your insight.
